ASCII Software Limited (formerly Chat-Forum.com Ltd) are a software development company based in Dorset, United Kingdom. We specialise in Internet, Intranet and Extranet software application development and services providing custom software solutions in accordance with our customers' requirements, utilising technologies such as custom Windows(tm) programs, server side scripting, Java applets, CGI programs, C/C++, HTML and Javascript.
Established in 1998 and incorporated as a private company in January 2000, we have a wealth of experience and expertise to provide the best in software services and support for our range of standard 'off the shelf' chat services (see chat-forum.com) and new software concepts derived by the customer. We have a customer focused policy whereby we understand the needs of established websites and new start-up web ventures and work side by side with our customers to ensure a level of service rarely found on the internet. We run our company as a normal business in the real world, we do not believe the trend of answering emails a week later to be the best way to do business, and nor do our customers!
With the creation of our own Data Centre in November 2003, using only top name brands within our network infrastructure such as Cisco, 3com, and D-Link etc., coupled with dedicated bandwidth and our own network servers (Mail, DNS etc.), we look forward to providing reliable hosted services for our customers far into the future.
